| | We start with the assumption that the quality of our lives are determined by three factors: |

| | 1. Our destiny, (also referred to as HEAVEN LUCK), which is determined by the time and place we are born, when the configuration of the stars and planets at that time leave their permanent imprint on the life-path of the new-born. We determine this by reading and interpreting a Bazi chart that is created by the date and time of birth, as the only inputs. Bazi is a form of Chinese Astrology, and is used to determine the life path of an individual. |

| | 2. Our surroundings (also referred to as EARTH LUCK), that determines further, the quality of our lives. This may include ones homes, offices, second homes and any properties that one may own, use or occupy. The effect of property on an individual is assessed using Feng Shui. |

| 3. Our own free will, (also referred to as MAN LUCK), one cannot underestimate the responsibility we must take for our actions and our deeds. It is area that is determined by how hard one works and the result of the QUALITY of effort one puts in. |

| Generally, our destiny automatically takes us to surroundings that fulfill our destiny. Hence if you are destined to go through a rough patch, you will select properties and rooms, sleeping positions etc. which reflect and support bad luck. The way we use the property reflects our luck. A good consultant can rectify problems caused by incorrect usage, by using his skills. |

| WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM A FENG SHUI CONSULTANT |

| The consultation would start with an assessment of the energy pattern in the property and what its effects are. The data required in most cases would be a scale plan of the premises, (dismiss anyone who does not ask you for a scale plan), birth data of the individuals using the premises, and when you occupied the property and the date it was built. |

| Events that are likely to take place in a property using a technique called “Xuan Kong” can be calculated and we use this knowledge to tap into the advantageous sectors in good timing and to avoid the problem areas in the time that these problems are anticipated. |

| Specific usage of rooms, and directions, particularly in respect of the main door, stove and beds and bedrooms would be suggested and precise angles would be marked and given to you. |

| You must bear in mind that there are cyclical shifts in the energy pattern on an annual, monthly as well as a daily basis, and the normal cyclical ups and downs are going to occur as usual. The suggestions are so as to enable you to take advantage of the ups and smoothen out the rough patches as and when they occur. Annual or even monthly reviews sometimes help to tide the client over a particularly trying time. |

Delays and health, moods and temperament are all easily altered by good Feng Shui. For more accurate results, you can have a BaZi or “Four Pillars” reading done. This is the Chinese method of Astrology. You can use this information to take informed decisions. |

| What you can do : make sure that you follow all suggestions properly. You should keep track of the events that take place after the changes have been made so that at the end of each month, you can see if there is any tangible improvement or not, and if so, in which areas. This will help your consultant to understand how you are reacting to the various energy fields, and can base new suggestions upon that feedback. |
