| Your Gua is much like your astrological birth sign in western astrology, where general traits and characteristics are attributed to each one based on the month they are born in and the corresponding birth sign they belong to. |

| Your entire personality is deeply influenced by the complete 8 characters of your BaZi, and here we are dealing with just one of these aspects, but it is quite accurate and a load of fun, so go ahead and enjoy yourself…. |

To calculate your GUA |
| |
| Add up the last two digits of your year of birth and reduce to a single digit. |
| For a female add 5 to the total. |
| Eg: You are a female born in 1971 |

7 | + | 1 | = | 8 | | 8 | + | 5 | = | 13 | again reduce this to a single digit | 3 | + | 1 | = | 4 | |

| For a male, deduct the total from 10. |
